The platform’s core objective was to provide a seamless and engaging way for users to search, filter, and save properties while enabling smooth communication with agents.

Searching for a property should be exciting, but for most users, it’s an overwhelming and fragmented experience. They often bounce between multiple listing websites, encounter incomplete or outdated property information, and struggle to establish clear communication with agents. These pain points create unnecessary friction, leading to frustration, wasted time, and even missed opportunities to secure the right property.
The real estate market is crowded with platforms that focus on listings but lack an integrated approach to user experience. Features like advanced search, agent communication, and preference management are either missing or poorly executed, leaving users without the tools they need to make confident decisions.

The design process for Ogle began with in-depth research to understand the real estate journey from both user and agent perspectives. Through interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis, we uncovered key pain points fragmented search experiences, poor communication channels, and a lack of personalization. Using these insights, I defined core personas and mapped their journeys to frame the primary challenge: How might we create a single platform that simplifies property search, enables direct agent communication, and personalizes the experience?
From there, I moved into ideation and design, starting with low-fidelity wireframes and flows to validate navigation and interactions. Features such as smart search filters, in-app messaging, and saved preferences were prioritized to reduce friction and keep users engaged. After several rounds of testing and iteration, I delivered high-fidelity designs for both mobile and web, ensuring a seamless, responsive experience across devices. The result was an intuitive platform that streamlined discovery, improved trust, and empowered users to manage their property search effortlessly.
